Summary: As a National Agent Manager, your primary responsibilities will be to recruit, train, and motivate agents to propose and close ABi business to the extent that you maintain sufficient revenue in the pipeline to meet and exceed assigned quota with profitable sales. As the first Agent Manager aboard ABi, you have a ground floor opportunity to introduce ABi to the Nation's top Agent Organizations. Ultimately each NAM is responsible for growing revenue and achieving the desired results according to the assigned budget.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Demonstrate a strong historical track record of existing / established agent relationships as well as a short list of national agents who will validate their intent to work with “you” at ABi.
Provide the demonstrated historical ability to quickly absorb and facilitate the return quotes in a manner that best suit the customer / agent requirements while ensuring ABi's best effort solution is provided.
Submit a list of targeted agents (your book of business) that you intend to bring to ABi (Calls from ABi to the agent will be made to substantiate).
Quickly absorb the ABi history, evolution, direction, and value proposition so that you may quickly facilitate agent contract negotiations.
Offer suggestions and recommendations as well as provide required reports to corporate sales and marketing staff regarding the development of advertising, promotional ideas, support materials, forecasts, quotas and annual budgets.
Facilitate the closing of new business while meeting sales and profit goals.
Understands the marketplace and the competition. Prepare reports and analysis related to your base of agents that accurately predict the outlook for your month, quarter, and year - providing gap filler plans when/where appropriate.
Assist as assigned with supplier relationships. Obtain pricing, new contracts and order assistance as required.
Travel required as approved and needed.
Perform other duties as requested by supervisor
Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
4 year college degree or equivalent agent manager sales experience (ideally 7 to 10 years experience required). Telecommunications or cable experience required.
Language Ability:
Strong ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Strong analytical and problem solving skills are essential.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have an intermediate to advanced skill level of the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
