The muddle in the hosted VoIP space is starting to clear.
I met with Dan Foster, MegaPath's Chief Sales & Marketing Office at the Channel Partners show in Vegas earlier this month to learn about MegaPath's vision for 2010. Click here to see the presentation MegaPath gave at the Telarus agent expo just a few days before.
The big news at the show was that MegaPath's 2009 profitability was up 160% year over year and the addition of their hosted voice VoIP solution to their existing MPLS, trunk, SIP trunking, analogue PRI, T-1, security and other managed solutions that all running over their QoS ("quality of service") enabled network.

"We're putting the quality back in voice", he remarked. "If you're selling hosted VoIP you really need to give MegaPath a call to see how the QoS in our MPLS network makes a big quality difference for your hosted voice customers. But don't take our word for it, ask our customers -- some of the largest retail customers down to some of the most demanding multi location SMB customers."
Do you sell hosted VoIP? Do you sell MegaPath? Do you think think MegaPath's MPLS network will make MegaPath a dominant player in the emerging hosted VoIP marketplace? Please share your comments below. This blog is for you. Tell your peers to visit & post here at www.MLEIP.com.
